If you want a homely, totally relaxing holiday then La Ferrandiere is for you. Authentically french. The furnishings tell you that this is a much loved home from home, where you can pass the time very pleasantly. Books, DVD's puzzles all to hand. I love it !!/.Dorothy Hall.

Si vous voulez passer des vacances chaleureuses et relaxantes, alors La Ferrandière est faite pour vous. Authentiquement français. Le mobilier vous dit que c'est une maison très aimée de la maison, où vous pouvez passer le temps très agréablement. Livres, puzzles DVD à portée de main. J'aime ça !!

We and our dogs adore this place.

Miles of woods to walk in and lashings of hot water to clean up in when we get back. Kids picked tons of blackberries on site. Futroscope was awesome. /Luke King.

Nous et nos chiens adorons cet endroit.

Des kilomètres de bois pour se promener et de l'eau chaude pour nettoyer quand nous reviendrons. Les enfants ont ramassé des tonnes de mûres sur place. Futroscope était génial.

We went as a large group to La Ferrandiere, we found it very homely and with it being away from main roads you can have a relaxing sleep. There are a range of activities and places to eat around the area. Beautiful rural setting giving you the opportunity to experience the true France. An amazing weeks holiday ideal for families or couples who need a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend the expererience and the relaxing atmosphere! Local amenites to experience the produce in the area. Big thank you Lizzie from everyone !!!

Nous sommes allés comme un grand groupe à la Ferrandiere, nous l'avons trouvé très agréable et avec elle étant loin des routes principales, vous pouvez avoir un sommeil relaxant. Il y a une gamme d'activités et d'endroits pour manger autour de la région. Beau cadre rural vous donnant l'occasion de découvrir la vraie France. Une merveilleuse semaine de vacances idéal pour les familles ou les couples qui ont besoin d'une escapade relaxante. Je recommande vivement le expererience et l'atmosphère relaxante! Amenites locaux pour faire l'expérience des produits dans la région. Grand Merci Lizzie de tout le monde!!!

Disliked · De routebeschrijving / adres was niet te vinden met navigatie, maar ook niet met Google Maps. Hiermee hebben we veel tijd verloren na een vermoeiende reis.

Wonderful large French farmhouse set in beautiful countryside

Liked · Wonderful spacious house in a deeply rural setting, yet only 10 mintures from the autoroute. Elizabeth was so helpful and welcoming, the house was spotless and they even provided dog beds and dog bowls. Our beagles asked if we could give 6 stars for that alone.

Disliked · we only stayed one night, longer would have been better

Rhayader Bikers.

Great place for a stop over on the way to Brieve Enduro and on the way back. Clean, comfortable good for bikes and beer. Highly recommended./Rhayader Bikers.

Super endroit pour faire une halte sur le chemin de Brieve Enduro et sur le chemin du retour. Propre, confortable et bien pour les vélos et la bière. Hautement recommandé.

Lovely quiet location, beautiful scenary. Big garden, fields to adventure around. The house is spacious and quirky, very French style old farmhouse, open space and felt like home.

Spent most of the time sunbathing in the garden listening to the animals and watching the world go by. We hired a car from the airport to go to the supermarket which is less than 15 mins away to the nearest shops, Aldi etc. All easy to get to and we didn't get lost, even though we had little back lanes. It was just like the Welsh lanes apart from driving on the wrong side!

Had such an amazing quiet break away with my partner. It was just what we needed. We did nothing but eat, cooked on a BBQ, drank French coffee and wine and sat out on the futon sunbathing.

We barley spent time on our phones we played pool, football, made our own games, read books and watched films. VERY PEACEFUL.

Cannot wait to go back next summer and soak up the sun again.
